How Many Lessons Will I Need?
This will depend on the individual. A course of 20-30 lessons can provide a good foundation for on-going self-discovery for most people. The best thing to do is have 1 or 2 lessons, go away and think about it to see whether you would like to learn how you can use yourself in a more conscious way.
What should I wear?
Wear what you normally wear except tight jeans as these restrict movement. You will onlybe asked to take off your shoes for a lesson.
Is this a form of alternative therapy or complementary medicine?
No. The Alexander Technique is educative in nature but can have therepeutic effects. My training is as a teacher, and not as a medical therapist.
Is the Technique covered by private medical insurance?
No, not at present.

People who are interested in self-improvement from all walks of life, and people who are in pain.
